February: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, DB14670
The story of an emotional little orphan, with a quick temper, fiery red hair, and a vivid imagination. It tells of her adoption by a farmer and his no-nonsense sister, and of her growing up in a village on Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia.
March: A Pocket Full of Rye: A Miss Marple Mystery by Agatha Christie, DB27878
Rex Fortescue, king of a financial empire, was sipping tea in his “counting house” when he suffered an agonizing and sudden death. On later inspection, the pockets of the deceased were found to contain traces of cereals. Yet, it was the incident in the parlor which confirmed Miss Marple’s suspicion that here she was looking at a case of crime by rhyme.
