Story Telling Workshop with Ex Fabula
Date: Thursday, October 13, 2016
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: Vision Forward Association
Address: 912 N. Hawley Road, Milwaukee WI
Audience: People of all ages with vision loss and family members
Vision Forward is excited to partner with Ex Fabula to offer a free workshop on story telling. Ex Fabula teaches people to share their personal stories to deepen the connection with the wider community through story telling events. This is a chance to craft your story and help others understand the experience of being blind or visually impaired. Family members of visually impaired children and adults are also encouraged to participate. Join us at this workshop to learn how to tell your stories and listen to the stories others have to tell. After the training is completed, there will be opportunities to share your story at a story telling event.
This free workshop is offered as part of the Equal Access project, which is supported in part by a grant from the Milwaukee Arts Board and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
