Details:

Geographic atrophy is a leading cause of visual impairment in the elderly. There are currently no approved treatments for this advanced form of age-related macular degeneration. However, new advances are helping us better understand risk factors and mechanisms in the disease process, which are opening doors to possible treatment targets.

Join us for a special presentation by Mackenzie Sward, MD, Milwaukee Eye Care Associates, to learn more about this topic, ask questions and help your patients see life to the fullest.

Heather Hinson, OD, Vision Forward, who specializes in low vision, will also cover the low vision exam and vision rehabilitation services.

This FREE presentation is designed for area optometrists. Your attendance will provide you with 1 CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT.
