Join us for an informal conversation about life after a diagnosis of macular degeneration. 

Living with vision loss can be challenging, especially when you have no one to turn to who really understands what you’re going through. Vision Forward is now offering FREE quarterly sessions to bring together individuals and foster an environment of learning and sharing with others.

Losing central vision can affect many areas of life, making it difficult to read, write, watch television, see faces, and more. Learn more about vision loss from professionals in the field, and afterwards share refreshments and conversation with peers who truly understand what it means to live with vision loss. Through sharing our knowledge and experience with others, we can help make adjusting to vison loss easier.

At this session, Dr. Hinson will discuss the types of macular degeneration, treatments that are currently available, and lifestyle modifications that you can make if your
vision has been affected.  Take this opportunity to get answers to your questions, and to offer your own experiences and advice to others affected by this life changing disease.
