At just 9 years old, Soleiny is already showing what strength and determination look like.

Born prematurely and living with Cerebral/Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI), she experiences the world a little differently. She needs extra time to take in what she sees and does best in environments designed to support her vision—like using lighted objects or reducing visual distractions. Everyday tasks require thoughtful adjustments, but that hasn’t stopped her from making meaningful progress.

Milestones That Matter
One of Soleiny’s biggest accomplishments has been building the strength to hold her head up for longer periods of time. While that may seem like a small step, it’s a huge milestone for her. She’s now beginning to do even more—like using her hands while looking at what she’s doing, whether it’s painting or exploring objects. These moments are helping her better connect with the world around her.
