Are you or someone you know living with low vision? Low vision is often caused by eye diseases like macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and retinitis pigmentosa. Magnification can be a helpful tool to access print information for someone with low vision.

We will dive into the fascinating world of magnification and talk about the different types of magnifiers, how optics work, and some helpful tips on taking care of your magnifying devices. Led by Lauren Nelson, Vision Forward’s Occupational Therapist and Certified Low Vision Therapist (CLVT).
