2-Day Tech Camp for Young Adults

Day 1
Today our young adults learned how to create Youtube videos using a smart phone, enjoyed a live demo of both OrCam’s “MyEye” and “Read” products by guest presenter Corinne Nero from OrCam, and were able to access content using screen readers and voice control.
Day 2
Today our young adults were introduced to the hands-on Monarch Braille Display! Rachel Ramos of HumanWare came and allowed participants to test drive this remarkable piece of adaptive technology with a tactile digital map of the USA displayed. The second part of the day was an exploration of the Meta glasses, Envision glasses, and SeeingAI and Be My Eyes apps. Thanks to all who signed up and our presenters for making this such an informative couple of days packed with all of the technology they could handle.
