Vision Forward is proud to announce that we have been awarded a 2025 Inspiration Foundation Assistive Technology Grant!
The Inspiration Foundation, established by Cleanlogic co-founders and Co-CEOs Isaac Shapiro and Mike Ghesser, is dedicated to empowering blind and low-vision individuals by funding technology training programs for nonprofits across the United States. Isaac’s primary inspiration is his mother, who lost her sight at the age of seven but never let it hold her back.
Through her perseverance, she became a passionate advocate, helping others in the blind and visually impaired community gain employment. The Inspiration Foundation Board of Directors believes that technology skills are crucial for successful job placement and independent living.
To support this mission, the Foundation provides Assistive Technology Grants to nonprofits serving individuals with vision loss, ensuring that technology classrooms remain up to date. Vision Forward will use this grant to purchase a Brailliant BI 40X braille display and a Perkins Classic Brailler. These tools will be used to teach our clients how to read and type in Braille, empowering them with vital literacy and communication skills. Learn more about VisionServe Alliance here.
