For more than 105 years we have stood as a trusted resource and community of support for thousands of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Throughout our history, the strength of our mission has been built by generations of dedicated supporters, compassionate staff, and visionary leaders—people like you—who believed in creating a more inclusive and empowered world.
Today, we’re excited to share the next chapter in our journey: Vision Forward is moving to a new headquarters! Our new address will be 10150 W National Avenue, West Allis, WI 53227, with easy freeway access and visibility.
This move is more than just a change of address. It honors our rich legacy while propelling us into a bold and transformative future. Our new home, easily accessible by public transportation, reflects our unwavering commitment to innovation, accessibility, and collaboration, and will allow us to expand our impact like never before.
The new facility will enable us to:
- Eliminate wait lists
- Increase annual clients served from 1,200 to 1,500–2,000 ensuring that no one in need of our services is turned away.
- Double early childhood capacity from 12 to 30–40 children annually
- Offer state-of-the-art assistive technology, specially designed training and therapy rooms, and flexible spaces for learning connection and support
- Provide collaborative spaces for programs, workshops, and community engagement.
- Operate in a fully ADA-compliant, inclusive environment designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
This isn’t just a building—it’s a place of hope, possibility, and transformation. It will be a hub where individuals of all ages can build skills, gain confidence, and connect with a caring community.
As we prepare for this exciting transition and look to the future, we carry with us all the moments, milestones, and people who have brought us this far. Your generosity, advocacy, and belief in our mission have made this progress possible.
