We’d like to thank all of those who attended our annual Vision Connections presentation this last Friday at Racine Gateway Technical College and the two lucky winners of our drawing for the Amazon Echos!
Our very own Dr. Heather Hinson presented on common visual impairments and our Occupational Therapist Lauren Nelson talked about some things you can do around the house to help with the loss of vision. Presenters Luke Scriven, our Assistive Technology Specialist, and Cory Ballard, Director of Vision Rehab Services, discussed some low and high technology solutions for people with visual impairments.
