Vision Forward receives grant from The Catholic Community Foundation to provide vision rehabilitation therapies

Vision Forward Association has been awarded a $15,000 grant from The Catholic Community Foundation to support people adjusting to living with vision loss

“The Catholic Community Foundation’s generous grant plays a significant role in our capacity to provide vision rehabilitation therapies to individuals who are blind and visually impaired, regardless of their ability to pay,” says Terri Davis, Vision Forward’s executive director. “

Vision Forward offers Vision Rehabilitation Therapy Programs (low vision, music, occupational, physical and speech-language) to assist children, youth and adults who have vision loss manage their everyday lives. Each separate therapy has a specific purpose, and the therapies are often used together for maximum effectiveness in helping individuals manage their visual impairments and acquire the necessary skills to maximize their independence and quality of life.
