VOX-2 Talking Scale | Accessible Kitchen Scale for Low Vision

$59.00

Description

Make measuring ingredients easier and more accessible with the VOX-2 Talking Scale. Designed with accessibility in mind, the VOX-2 provides spoken weight measurements so you can hear the result instead of relying solely on the scale’s visual display.

With a capacity of up to 11 pounds (5 kilograms) and precision of 1 gram (0.1 ounce), the VOX-2 is suitable for everyday cooking, baking, meal preparation, and weighing a variety of household items.

Hear Measurements Aloud

The VOX-2’s talking function announces the measured weight once the reading stabilizes. Voice output can be selected in English, German, French, or Spanish, making the scale accessible to a variety of users. The talking function can also be turned off when spoken output is not needed.

Volume can be adjusted between high and low settings, providing additional flexibility depending on the user’s environment.

Precise Measurements

The VOX-2 measures weights in grams or pounds and ounces, with measurements up to 5,000 grams and a resolution of 1 gram. This makes it useful when following recipes that require precise ingredient measurements.

Accessible Controls

Large, easy-to-identify buttons make the VOX-2 easier to operate. The tactile controls can help users locate important functions without needing to rely entirely on vision.

The scale also features a large backlit LCD display, providing a visual alternative to the spoken output for users who can benefit from enlarged, illuminated numbers.

Tare Function

The built-in tare function allows you to place a bowl, container, or other vessel on the scale and reset the measurement to zero. You can then weigh the ingredients without including the weight of the container.

Easy-to-Clean Stainless Steel Platform

The VOX-2 features a stainless steel weighing platform that provides a durable surface for everyday kitchen use and is easy to clean after preparing food.

Portable and Battery Powered

The compact VOX-2 measures approximately 9.05 × 6.4 × 1.6 inches and weighs approximately 19.75 ounces. It operates using four AA batteries, making it convenient to use without being connected to an electrical outlet.

An automatic shutoff feature turns the scale off after approximately 90 seconds of inactivity to help conserve battery power.
