Benefits of the Optelec ClearView+

The ClearView+ is designed to provide a comfortable and flexible reading experience for people with low vision. Its large monitor and adjustable magnification make it possible to enlarge everything from small print to photographs and detailed objects.

The movable reading platform allows users to position documents precisely beneath the camera. The ergonomic wrist pad provides a comfortable place to rest the hands while operating the controls.

High-Definition Viewing

The ClearView+ uses advanced video processing to produce sharp images with smooth character edges, vivid colors, and accurate color representation. The Full HD configuration uses a 1080p camera, providing a wider magnification range and a crisper image than the HD configuration.

Adjustable Magnification

The ClearView+ provides continuous magnification so users can select the level that works best for the material and their individual visual needs. The Full HD version offers magnification up to 72X, while the HD configuration offers a different magnification range depending on the monitor and camera configuration.

Comfortable Reading Platform

The ClearView+ features a smooth-gliding reading table that allows documents to be moved horizontally and vertically beneath the camera. The one-touch electronic brake can stop the table from moving, helping users maintain their position on the page.

Adjustable Monitor Position

The Ultra-Flexible Arm gives users considerable control over the position of the display. The monitor can be moved vertically and horizontally and tilted to create a comfortable viewing angle. The arm also supports 90-degree rotation for reading columns of text.

Simple Controls

The ClearView+ is designed with ease of use in mind. Its primary control is positioned on the reading platform, allowing users to adjust the image without having to reach away from their reading position. Less frequently used controls can be covered when they are not needed.
