Daily Living

The key to independence with vision loss is learning how to complete everyday tasks in new and different ways.
Vision loss often means learning to do daily tasks in a different way. Vision Forward’s occupational therapists can help adults with vision impairment learn new skills, including:
- Grooming, administering medication, identifying and cleaning clothing
- Identifying and managing money, labeling, organizing
- Preparing food and other personal and household management tasks
Our Resources section includes a list of simple adaptations for your home that can help make daily life with vision loss easier.
