Havah's Story

Havah is a pageant titleholder, a singer, and a proud big sister.

When you meet Havah, it’s impossible not to notice her confidence, determination, and joy.

Havah is a pageant titleholder, an accomplished singer, a scholar, a proud big sister, and one of Vision Forward’s incredible Be Seen advocates. Diagnosed with Stargardt macular degeneration, she has never allowed vision loss to define what is possible.

Instead, she continues to inspire everyone around her by sharing her gifts and encouraging others with vision loss to dream big.

Recently, Havah authored The Letter E, a children’s book inspired by the only letter she could see on an eye chart. Her goal is simple yet profound—to educate healthcare providers, support families navigating a new diagnosis, and help children with vision loss see themselves reflected in stories of possibility and hope.

Beyond sharing her own story, Havah generously gives back to Vision Forward as a volunteer. She recently assisted at our Dining in the Dark event and Rainbow Day Camp, demonstrating that leadership is not measured by age but by the willingness to lift others along the journey.

Thank you, Havah, for helping others truly Be Seen.
