Vision Forward appoints Jaclyn Borchardt as new CEO

Milwaukee, WI – Vision Forward Association has announced that Jaclyn (Jacci) Borchardt has accepted the role of CEO at the organization, succeeding Terri Davis who is retiring after 15 years with the organization. Borchardt stepped into the CEO position on April 1st, and Davis will finish as CEO Emeritus on June 30th.

“I could not be more proud that Jacci has taken over the CEO role,” says Davis. “I am very confident in the next generation of leaders who will continue to navigate Vision Forward into the future.”

Borchardt has been with the organization in a leadership role since 2013, most recently serving as the Director of Operations. In this role she oversaw program operations, personnel, budgets, quality management, and the design and implementation of new programs.

Borchardt is the past chair of the Wisconsin Rehabilitation Council, which provides input and guidance to the state vocational rehabilitation program, serving individuals with disabilities. She is also a member of the governor’s appointed Interagency Coordinating Council, which provides oversight to the statewide Birth to 3 program. In addition, she  serves as a Steering Committee member for the Aging and Vision Loss National Coalition and is the co-chair of the Data and Research Committee. Borchardt is the President  of the Wisconsin Association of Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Established in 1919, Vision Forward has been successfully serving residents of Wisconsin and beyond who are blind and visually impaired. Last year the organization served more than 4,000 individuals of all ages living with vision loss.
