Description

The MaxTV Clip by Eschenbach is a convenient distance magnification aid designed to help people with low vision enjoy television, films, and other activities that require seeing details from a distance. This lightweight clip-on optical system attaches to existing prescription eyeglasses and provides approximately 2x magnification, making images and on-screen text appear larger.

The MaxTV Clip features a Galilean optical system with flip-up lenses, allowing users to move the magnifying optics out of the way when magnification is not needed. Its adjustable vertical positioning helps users find a suitable viewing height, while protective covers on the clip help prevent scratching and slipping on eyeglasses.

Designed primarily for viewing at approximately 3 meters (10 feet), the MaxTV Clip is particularly useful for watching television and reading subtitles or other text on the screen. It can also be helpful when viewing presentations or other distant objects. By providing hands-free magnification while attached to prescription glasses, this Eschenbach low vision aid can make distance viewing more comfortable and accessible.
