Description

The DaVinci Pro from Enhanced Vision is a high-performance desktop electronic magnifier designed to provide powerful magnification, high-definition viewing, and full-page text-to-speech. Its 3-in-1 Full HD camera lets users view materials up close, see objects at a distance, or use the camera for self-viewing.

The DaVinci Pro combines a 24-inch high-resolution HD LCD screen, adjustable magnification, multiple viewing modes, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) in one desktop low vision solution. With magnification of up to 77X, users can enlarge books, documents, photographs, presentations, whiteboards, and other visual materials.

Its full-page OCR capability can also convert printed text into speech, allowing users to listen to books, articles, and other documents rather than relying solely on magnification. The DaVinci Pro is suitable for use at home, school, or work and can support a wide variety of reading and visual tasks.

Benefits of the DaVinci Pro

The DaVinci Pro combines several low vision functions into one desktop system. Its large 24-inch screen provides a broad viewing area, while the Full HD camera delivers detailed magnified images.

The 3-in-1 camera provides flexibility for different activities. Users can position the camera for reading and writing, point it toward objects farther away such as presentations or whiteboards, or use the self-viewing function for personal grooming.

The integrated OCR system adds another way to access printed information. Instead of viewing enlarged text on the screen, users can have the DaVinci Pro recognize and read a full page aloud.

Full-Page OCR and Text-to-Speech

The DaVinci Pro’s OCR functionality is designed to make printed materials accessible through spoken output. Place a document beneath the camera and use the OCR function to convert the printed content into text that can be read aloud.

Users can navigate through paragraphs, select text, save documents, and choose between male and female voices. The system also supports multiple languages.

Magnification and Viewing Modes

The DaVinci Pro provides magnification up to 77X, giving users substantial flexibility when viewing small print or fine details. Its 28 viewing modes can be used to adjust contrast and brightness according to the user’s viewing preferences.

3-in-1 Camera

The autofocus camera can be used in three primary ways:

Near View: Magnify books, documents, photographs, crafts, and other items placed beneath the camera.

Distance View: View presentations, whiteboards, signs, or other objects farther away.

Self View: Use the camera like a mirror for tasks such as applying makeup or shaving.
